Growing demands for evidence-based decision-making, and for the effective translation of data into meaningful, actionable insight aligned with strategic and operational objectives, have shaped the context in which Caribbean Data Intelligence & AI Innovation was established.
The organization emerged from years of applied experience across diverse contexts, where recurring challenges in data availability, quality, analytical capacity, interpretation, and practical use limited the effective use of data for decision-making and organizational priorities.
In response to these challenges, Caribbean Data Intelligence & AI Innovation was founded to support organizations in moving from limited, fragmented, or underutilized data toward decision-ready insight, strengthening the alignment between analytical work, strategic priorities, and real-world decision-making.

Founder & Principal Consultant
Statistician & Applied Data Analytics Consultant
Caribbean Data Intelligence & AI Innovation is founded and led by Candace Moonansingh, a statistician and data analytics consultant with over a decade of experience in mathematics education, applied statistics, and evidence-based policy analysis.
She holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Statistics, and her academic and applied work focuses on the use of quantitative models to inform decision-making across education, public policy, health, and socio-economic development. She is a published researcher whose work on multidimensional poverty and education outcomes in Trinidad and Tobago applies statistical analysis to inform data-driven policy responses.
Her professional experience spans the public sector, public health institutions, universities, and private-sector organizations, where she has led and supported projects in policy evaluation, poverty and inequality modelling, health and epidemiological analysis, financial and operational analytics, and institutional decision frameworks.
Her applied analytics work integrates statistical analysis, quantitative modelling, and data visualization to translate complex datasets into actionable insight.
